Linocut Workshop

Here's a linocut that I completed during an initiation workshop.

I took part in a linocut initiation workshop run by Spig ; this workshop was organized thanks to the association Nyredia.

Here's the result. I designed the original image in 3D in Blender and then I completed it with the reduction technic. This means that, first , on my lino plate, I cut out all the white parts, I inked the plate to print the grey parts. After the first print, I cut out again my plate to remove the grey parts then with a second inking, I printed the black parts on the same sheets of paper, over the grey ink.

Voici une linogravure que j'ai réalisée pendant un atelier d'initiation.

J'ai participé à un atelier d'initiation à la linogravure animé par Spig ; cet atelier a été organisé grâce à l'association Nyredia.

Voici le résultat. J'ai conçu l'image d'origine en 3D sous Blender et je l'ai ensuite réalisée avec la technique de la réduction. Ce qui veut dire que sur ma plaque de lino, j'ai d’abord gravé toutes les parties blanches, j'ai encré la plaque pour imprimer les parties grises. Après la première impression, j'ai de nouveau gravé ma plaque pour enlever les parties grises et avec un deuxième encrage j'ai imprimé les parties noires sur les mêmes feuilles, par dessus l'encre grise.
